Rooster’s Nest was founded in April 2006 by Sally Walsh and Bill Shoemaker. Sally, a Philadelphia transplant, saw the need for a high-end, high-quality shop for unique gifts and stunning home accessories as well as furnishings in the Bethany Beach/Fenwick Island area. From this need, she curated a collection of one-of-kind items to feature in the store and Rooster’s Nest was born. 18 years later, Rooster’s Nest has become one of the top shopping destinations in the area for local residents and visitors alike.
